The latest build of Windows 10 - now being made available to Insiders - is looking to replace passwords with a variety of different authentication methods - at least for the stripped down Chrome-clone Windows S. Microsoft is saying that it's a very new tool, and it doesn't look like it may take a lot of extra testing to get it working properly.

Microsoft has released a new Windows 10 Redstone 4 Insider Preview build (aka Windows 10 Spring Creators Update) and if any of us thought the development phase was nearly finished, we were definitely wrong. However, it is only available for Windows 10S and users of the said OS have the option to unlock their devices suing their Android or iOS devices. This build is a portion of the RS4 section, which depicts the subsequent Windows 10 update the corporation has still to declare.

Other new features in this Build include an HDR calibration tool to improve compatibility in more displays, a more honed eye control experience for those who struggle to use a mouse, an update Game bar that improves access to your recordings and toggle your webcam and mic. Users watching HDR video on a laptop might want to approach the feature with caution because HDR playback uses the full brightness of the display.

Aimed at students, Windows 10 S is a streamlined version of the operating system that is restricted to running apps from the Microsoft Store. There's also a new part of Speech, Inking, & Typing settings under Privacy so that you can new view and clear your user dictionary. In general the power saving GPU is the integrated GPU on a system, and the high performance GPU is the discrete GPU or external GPU. While there are some exciting improvements to the system graphics, the company also unveiled some privacy and security changes. The browser also gains the ability to print "certain types of webpages" in a clutter-free mode without ads and other unnecessary page elements.
