Apple sends invites to October 30 event, new iPad Pros expected

October 30 also date of Apple's Mac and iPad Pro event

Apple isn't finished with new products this year as it plans to hold another special event on October 30.

Apple's October keynote takes place on October 30 at 10am local time - 3pm GMT.

"There's more in the making", reads the invite that Gadgets 360 received, with an Apple logo in blue with little skyscrapers in the middle, representing what looks like the NY skyline.

The launch event continues a busy fall season for Apple, which last month released the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and a new Apple Watch.

According to information the publication gathered from accessory manufacturers at the Global Source Mobile Electronics Trade Fair in Hong Kong, there is significant "talk" at the show related to Apple making the jump from Lightning to USB-C with the new iPad Pro.

It's been expected that Apple would host another event this year, following the iPhone event in early September. Expectations are that this will see the unveiling of new iPad Pro tablets as well as, potentially, new Macs.

You'll also note that the bezels on the new iPad Pro models are significantly smaller. You can read a round-up of all the 2018 iPad Pro rumours and leaks here.

Apple typically streams the event live on its website and on Apple TV. This latest leaked image does line up with previous rumors and leaks, so unless Apple is planning something out of left field at its expected event later this month, this is probably what we're going to see become officially official soon enough.

Apple could also launch AirPower, the wireless charger for iPhones that is supposed to come out in 2018. Apple has developed a low-priced notebook with a Retina display, according to reports, and it would serve as a follow-up to the outdated MacBook Air.
