She has filed the complaint at the Oshiwara police station against Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Sameer Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang. The latter deemed the video fake and has also registered a complaint with the cyber crime cell of the Mumbai Police.

Describing the #MeToo movement in India as the beginning of a "wrong practice", BJP MP Udit Raj on Tuesday supported actor Nana Patekar and questioned actress Tanushree Dutta for speaking up after a decade.

She said Ms Dutta too has been asked to appear before the commission to provide it more information on her complaint. According to news agency PTI, a press conference, slated to be addressed by him, was also cancelled. "Will let you know about the further proceedings soon, regards".

Ganesh Acharya also denied the incident. Dutta also said that she received threats of a "violent attack" from activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena political party when she had protested the incident ten years ago.

According to Tanushree, during the shooting of a song sequence for the film Horn OK Pleassss, she was being inappropriately touched by Nana Patekar even after she had clearly mentioned that she will not enact or perform any lewd, vulgar or uncomfortable steps.
