In a statement issued after two days of talks with Saudi Arabia's public prosecutor Saud al-Mojeb, it also said no concrete results were reached in those meetings.

Saudi Arabia has refused Turkey's demand that it extradite 18 Saudi officials who have been detained in their home country in connection with Khashoggi's murder so they can stand trial in Turkey.

It is also pressing Saudi Arabia for information concerning Khashoggi's remains, which still haven't been found, as well as who ordered the journalist's slaying.
