Oklahoma is in the College Football Playoff, moving into the fourth and final spot in the rankings after winning the Big 12 championship.

Alabama and Clemson opened as double-digit favorites in their respective semifinal games against Oklahoma and Notre Dame.

The ACC champion Tigers (13-0, No. 2 CFP) will play Notre Dame (12-0, No. 3 CFP) in the Cotton Bowl on December 29 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Quarterback Ian Book proved to be the game-changer for Notre Dame's offense this season with 2,468 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, six interceptions and a 162.5 passer rating. This will be the first time Notre Dame has faced a team not from Texas in the bowl. Clemson (the ACC champion) and Notre Dame (undefeated) should occupy the top three spots, likely in that order. After weeks of heavy debate, it's time to settle the sport's biggest question: Who should be No. 4 in the College Football Playoff? The Irish won the first meeting in 1977, while the Tigers won matchups in 1979 and 2015.

"There's no comparison", Narduzzi said.

It could be argued that Georgia still deserved to be in the playoff, given they were the only team to put up a scrap against Bama, but it was always going to be hard for Georgia to get into the playoff without an SEC title. They'll probably win a national championship, in my opinion.

Clemson is in the CFP for the fourth consecutive season.

The SuperBook has been taking bets on a potential national championship game matchup between Alabama and Clemson for more than a month.
