Video of Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt assaulting woman surfaces

A look at Chiefs RB situation following release of Kareem Hunt

The incident had been previously reported by multiple outlets, but Friday was the first time video was publicized. Hunt also kicks the woman in the leg. Abigail Ottinger, 19, told officers that Hunt "shoved and pushed" outside of what Cleveland.com calls Hunt's "hotel apartment".

The woman told police in February that the argument started when she refused to hook up with a member of Hunt's entourage, TMZ reports.

Police were called after the altercation, which occurred in the early hours of February 10, but no arrests were made because they couldn't determine if there was a crime committed, according to TMZ. According to TMZ, police were given access to the video from the Metropolitan hotel. Kansas City now owns a one-game lead over the Patriots for the No. 1 seed in the AFC ahead of their visit to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon.

The NFL could put Hunt on the Commissioner Exempt list, which would mean Hunt would not participate in practices or play in games but would still get paid. After the video went public, the Chiefs chose to send Hunt home. The kick from Hunt, which is shown in the video, was reportedly not included in police reports by either party. Hunt can be seen shoving the woman, but when she hits him back, he shoves his friend into her.
