2013 Winter Television: Great Series to Watch

January and February TV Premieres and Returns

2013 has arrived, and it's bringing with it the continued seasons of personal television favorites, as well as new season premieres. In January, I'll be happy to welcome the second seasons of HBO's Girls and Enlightened. Comedy favorites Parks and Recreation and Archer will tread on starting in January. The Walking Dead will conclude its third and reinvigorated season in February. Community will be given a last chance with a new show runner also starting in February. Justified's fourth season will commence in just a few days on FX.  Further down the line, in March, HBO will premiere the third season of Game of Thrones. Here is the full list of the shows I hope to be watching over the next few months:

Winter Premieres:

Justified, Jan. 8

Girls, Jan. 13

Enlightened, Jan. 13

Suits, Jan. 17

CommunityFeb. 7

Winter Returns:

Parks and Recreation, Jan. 17

The Walking Dead, Feb. 10

Save the Date!!!:

Game of Thrones, March 31

Note: Downtown Abbey returns to U.S. audiences on January 6, but has just completed its third season run on British television. Because I have already seen the season, it was not included here; but I recommend it to anyone who likes well-written high drama.

"Suits" is on the list!!! Except mistakenly on "Winter Premieres" instead of "Winter Returns." It resumed its second season on January 17th.
